During the last 10 years working as a Frontend Developer, and the last 6 years as a freelance WordPress Developer, I have collaborated with many digital design agencies from almost all over the globe: Germany, Switzerland, USA, UK, Austria and Romania.
My main specialization is the development of WordPress themes, based on the designs sent by design agencies; in addition to Frontend and WordPress theme development, I manage the entire project, starting from a secure WordPress installation, up to configurations of the vital plugins, continuing with widget and plugin development, 3rd party API integration, website speed management, website launch and client documentation.
I am always up to date with the most current technologies and trends in web development and have gained considerable experience in developing responsive WordPress themes and widgets, integrating free and premium plugins, adding interactions with jQuery, implementing custom typography and using proven responsive frameworks such as Foundation5 and Bootstrap3. I have also managed Apache servers, MySQL databases and worked with the CPanel software.
Also, I have very good experience in developing WordPress Child Themes, custom CMS Fields (Advanced Custom Fields plugin), WordPress Multilanguage websites (WPML Plugin), WordPress Custom Post Types & Taxonomies, WordPress custom Filters & Functions, WordPress eCommerce (WooCommerce), Blog & News systems, as well as good knowledge in the following fields: SEO, WordPress Security & Backup, 3rd party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, googleMaps, MailChimp, etc).
I have strong english and german language skills; the work is done out of my home office, while communication with the clients is handled via eMail, Skype, Dropbox and googleDocs.
